Why choose Mong Kok

Mong Kok suits people who want the city immediately outside the building. The area changes block by block: Argyle Street and Nathan Road are constant movement, Fa Yuen Street and Tung Choi Street are more market-led, and the MOKO side links into Mong Kok East.

It is also a strong student base when the route fits. CityU and Hong Kong Baptist University are at Kowloon Tong, three stops from Mong Kok on the Kwun Tong Line. PolyU is at Hung Hom, one stop from Mong Kok East on the East Rail Line.

For CUHK, Mong Kok East gives a direct East Rail Line journey to University station. It is five stops to University, so the appeal is the direct train rather than being next door.

The trade-off is intensity. Some tenants want the late food, transport and street life. Others prefer to be nearer the MOKO and Mong Kok East side, where the rail connection changes and the street pattern feels less like Nathan Road.
